From 12 to 13 June, Bernhard Bauer was at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton (NJ). In the course of the first ‘SCOOP: Source Codes of the Past - ATR/HTR Network for Manuscript Analysis’ meeting, our PI was invited to give a lecture. The workshop was organised by the ‘Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton’, the ‘Center for Digital Humanities’, ‘Manuscripts, Rare Books, and Archival Studies’, ‘Humanities Initiative’ (all Princeton University), and the ‘Digital Lab, Institute for Medieval Research’ (Austrian Academy of Sciences). Under the title ‘HTR and Early Medieval Multilingual Glosses: Establishing the GlossIT Corpus’, Bernhard Bauer gave insights into the corpus creation of our project.
The next SCOOP meeting is planned for summer 2026, at which GlossIT will again be represented.
