On 13 November 2024, Dr Bernhard Bauer, the PI of the GlossIT project, gave a lecture at the University of Bonn at the invitation of Keltologie Bonn and the Thurneysenstiftungsfonds. Dr Bauer presented the core topic of the GlossIT project under the title ‘Early medieval glosses: An Interface between Celtic Studies, Linguistics, Digital Humanities and Medieval Studies’, which was given in memoriam Rudolf Thurneysen. The lecture outlined the potential of gloss studies and the importance of different methodological approaches.
