From 27 to 30 August, European Celtic scholars gathered in Bonn for the 4th European Symposium in Celtic Studies to present their latest research findings from all areas of Celtic studies. Of course, GlossIT could not miss that!
Bernhard Bauer, Francesca Guido, Annabelle Kienzl and Carolina Mairinger gave an overview of the project's work to date in their panel discussion 'WHAT GOES ON? – RESEARCHING EARLY MEDIEVAL GLOSSED CORPORA USING A COMBINED DIGITAL HUMANITIES AND CELTIC STUDIES APPROACH. The team discussed the digital workflow and the application of the ATR software eScriptorium, as well as data models. The presentation concluded with a case study on the glosses in the manuscript Paris, BN, nouv. acq. lat. 1616. The subsequent Q&A session demonstrated the audience's keen interest in the project.
As always, the slides from the panel presentations can be found in the GlossIT Zenodo Community.
