Team
Here you can find the team of the Gloss.IT. project
Welcome to the team section of our research project. Here, you can get to know the individuals who are working on this project. Our team is made up of experts from different academic backgrounds, each bringing their unique knowledge to the project. We have professionals in Celtic studies, linguistics, classical philology, history, and digital humanities. This mix of expertise makes our team versatile and forward-thinking.
The team is led by Bernhard Bauer,an experienced researcher in studying glossed corpora combining traditional methods with those of the digital humanities. As the Principal Investigator (PI), Bauer oversees the project and uses his knowledge in linguistics and Celtic studies to guide the research. Throughout the project, we will have researchers who specialize in Latin philology, digital humanities and history. They will use their academic skills and innovative research techniques to help the project. This ensures that the project benefits from their specific areas of knowledge.
In the first one to three years of the project, we will also be supported by student assistants. They will have the chance to gain practical experience and contribute to the research. Our team is a mix of experience, expertise, and passion. We believe that this diversity and teamwork are important for the success of our project. We encourage you to look at our team members' profiles, learn about their backgrounds, and keep up to date with our project's progress.
